Where are my reminders stored?
In the current app, reminders live in a SQLite database within private app storage on your device.
How do I edit or remove a reminder?
Tap a reminder to view it. Edit appears as a full-width action above Complete and Delete, which remain side by side. On touch devices, swipe right to reveal Complete, then tap it; swipe left to reveal Edit and Delete.
Why might Android alerts be slightly delayed?
Android 14 and later can deny exact-alarm access by default. UniRemind uses an idle-aware fallback when exact access is unavailable. Battery optimization may also influence delivery.
Which settings are available?
Settings supports system, dark, and light themes; English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch; local backup and restore; help and privacy links; and a direct bug-report email action.
Can UniRemind scan a timetable photo?
UniRemind 2.0 can choose an image or take a photo and recognize schedule text on the device. Review and edit every candidate before importing. You can then remove individual reminders from the latest import or undo that import completely. Clear, straight, high-contrast images produce the best results.
How do I scan birthdays from a paper notebook?
Open Scan schedule, choose Birthday list, then choose an image or take a clear, straight photo. Put one person on each line—for example, “Anna — 14 March 1988”; the year is optional, and an explicit birth year is retained in the reminder details. Review every proposed yearly birthday before importing.
How do I scan a meeting link?
In New reminder or Edit reminder, select Scan beside Meeting link, then choose or photograph the invitation. UniRemind reads the image locally, reconstructs wrapped HTTP/HTTPS links, and shows the result for review before it is added.
Does photo recognition upload my image?
No. Recognition and event parsing run locally. UniRemind does not send the image or recognized text to a UniRemind server and does not keep the source image or raw recognized text after processing.
Can UniRemind send SMS?
Not currently. SMS delivery remains a future connected feature and will require separate consent and privacy controls.
Where can I download the app?
Signed public Android and iOS releases are not available yet. Store links will activate after device QA, signing, privacy review, and store approval.
